Stew in a sense is a victim of a victim (his father) and now Kitty is his victim. But at least kitty tries to do something about this, probably if Kitty has a child the cycle will not be reproduced. by addressing the problems with her father, if only through an article, this cycle will have been broken with awareness, but Stew was not aware at all.
